About Dan...
Being a former British Army Physical Training Instructor, Dan has a strong commitment to excellence and a keen attention to detail, Dan provides individualised strength and conditioning programs that are designed to optimise performance, enhance athletic potential, and reduce injury risk. Dan believes every aspect of an athlete’s development—whether physical, mental, or technical—requires precision and focus.
His approach combines evidence-based training methodologies with a thorough understanding of biomechanics and sports science. By carefully assessing each athlete’s unique needs and goals, he will develop targeted programs that emphasise correct movement patterns, progressive overload, and recovery strategies tailored to their sport or specific training.
Through consistent communication, close monitoring of progress, and continuous education, Dan will work to ensure that every client achieves sustainable results and reaches their full potential. Whether working with elite athletes or those new to strength training, his dedication to professionalism and attention to detail ensures a safe, effective, fun and results-driven training experience.
"Remain humble. Don't worry about who receives the credit. Never let power or authority go to your head."
- Major Dick Winters – Easy Company, 101st Airborne Division, World War 2
TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
My fitness philosophy focuses on balance—training the mind, body, and spirit. Consistency over perfection, functional fitness for life, and adaptability are key. I believe in sustainable habits, not extremes, and tailoring workouts to each individual. Recovery is essential to let your body absorb your training, and fitness should be enjoyable. Progress is about small, continuous improvements, empowering you to feel stronger, more confident, and capable. Fitness is a lifelong journey, not a short-term fix.

TESTIMONIALS
“I’ve been having sessions with Dan for over two years now and I really enjoy them. He really pushes me to get the best out of my training and the best out of myself, whether that’s motivating me to do something out of my comfort zone and achieving a new goal or PB, or focusing on my technique and analysing what I could do better. His attention to detail when it comes to technique and form, has not only helped me prevent injuries but has also maximised my results. An all-round great guy, who also has great knowledge in weight lifting and fitness. If you want a trainer who can help you with the above, I couldn’t recommend Dan enough!" - ED
